Membership Terms & Conditions

  1. Meet the Winemaker Tastings:

    As a member, you’ll have exclusive access to regular intimate tastings with the respective winemakers.

  2. Bottle Storage:

    We offer secure, climate-controlled storage for your wine collection, at a stable 15 degrees Celsius year-round.

    • The wines are kept on their side, to prevent the cork drying out, the room has minimal light.
    • The room can only be accessed by staff, or members upon request.
    • If the member wishes to order and drink their own bottle within a Grapevine Bar, a set corkage fee is charged at £10 per bottle opened.
    • Members are welcome to remove or collect their wine at any time during opening hours.
    • Members can store as many bottles of wine, or any other alcohol-based drink, as they wish. Simply deliver the bottles to The Grapevine, Conduit Hill, Rye, East Sussex, UK, TN31 7LE, either by hand, courier, or however convenient.
  3. Member-Only Events:

    Enjoy exclusive invitations to special events, including wine tastings, vineyard tours, live music & other entertainment performances exclusively for members, plus more.

  4. Booking & Reservations:
    • Only members can book and reserve seating at The Grapevine’s; non-members can only enter on a first-come-first-served basis and/or join a virtual waitlist to enter the premises when at full capacity.
    • Please note that we are limited to 70 seats in total. From time to time, we may not have availability to reserve seating if fully booked. It’s recommended to book at least 24 hours in advance to avoid disappointment. Member bookings are prioritised over non-members. We will always accommodate when possible.
    • When The Grapevine experiences a queue to enter the premises, members will receive priority access and may be asked to join the front of the queue.
  5. Handpicked Wine Selections:
    • Members receive curated selections of exceptional wines, chosen by our team and our partners.
    • The Grapevine’s offers are negotiated with distributors and vineyards independently, specifically for the members. The offers are not available to non-members.
  6. Complimentary Tea & Coffee:
    • Enjoy complimentary tea, coffee & other selected hot drinks during your visits.
    • The Grapevine in Tenterden is open from 9am (please view opening hours online) and serves premium coffee.
    • Save money by enjoying free hot drinks for you and your guests. The Grapevine encourages and welcomes members to use the Tenterden premises as a social hub throughout the daytimes and evenings.

General Terms & Conditions

  1. Membership Fees: Membership fees may apply and are subject to change. Please refer to our website or contact us for the most current information.
  2. Membership Cancellation: Membership can be cancelled with 1 month’s notice.
  3. Wine Storage: While we take utmost care of your wine collection, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage due to unforeseen circumstances.
  4. Events & Tastings: Event dates and times are subject to change. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events if necessary with good reason.
  5. Wine Selections: Wine selections may vary based on availability.
  6. Governing Law: These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
